| Welcome to MartieCars.com! My name is Martin Cheung (a.k.a. VipMartie). I started MartieCars.com in early 2003, when I was anticipating in automobile styling using photoshop as my toolbox. I was a member of the community that once belonged to old "ZON bil", which today is known as "Sportbilen.se", where I modified cars through computer together with other photoshopers. It didn't take long time before I realized that I had to store my works somewhere. That's when I came up with making my own homepage to also be able to show other people my photoshoping. Since my name is Martin, I had the nickname "Martie", given to me by a penpal of mine long time ago. So the choice was easy, MartieCars would be the name of the site! My nickname "VipMartie", on the other hand, is a combination of my nick "Martie" and my number one favorite car (no matter what other people say), the one and only Viper! So "Vip" does NOT stand for "Very Important Person" which could easily be mistaken by many people. MartieCars.com is a private owned, third-party site, which means I have no business intentions at all. This site is only made for my own request to be able to show my photoshop works and also some of my reality rides that I have or had during my earlier lifetime. The meaning of "Personal Edition" is my own goal to make this site look more private as a real "home"-page instead of something that tries to blend in as a company site. My former editions of MartieCars.com could be mistaken to be a business site, which in results gave me a few emails about product informations, prices etc. That was kind of fun in a way, but I don't want people to see MartieCars.com as a company since it really is not. Personal Edition V.1 was created in 2007 to achieve my goal with being a private homepage. Later on, my private site for my Mitsubishi Colt CZT was launched. The site was called "Compact-Z" and was kind of an online showoff page for all my modifications on the car. As many of you might understand is that cars claims a lot of money and time, especially for hobby purpose. This made my "Personal Edition V.1" all stranded since I didn't had time to update it. This is the reason why I made "Personal Edition V.2" to be able to keep both my cars and photoshopings in one site. All materials in this site is 100% CopyRight © All Rights Reserved! I would personally be huge grateful if you could respect that. All the pictures I use for digital styling has either no CopyRight © or gave me their permission to publish and modify the pictures. If you feel like you really want use any of my materials, don't hesitate to ask. Nothing is impossible! Unfortenately I can't promise anything about the materials that I am not the main owner of though. To be able to view the site correct as I designed it, I would recommend you to use Internet Explorer 5 or higher together with Flash player.
